Day Two

It's Saturday so no building work today.  The loft is almost empty and we had a ton of stuff to sort through.

The things we accumulated over the last 10 years will either end up at the Car Boot, Charity Shop or the Tip.

As there are no building related pictures here's a few from the Rhyl Airshow which took place today.

Day One

So the day has finally arrived.  The scaffolders have been and we are all set for the Builders on Monday.

We know that there are going to be some minor (and major) disruptions along the way but it will all be worth it in the end.

I'll be posting here everyday of the build to keep up to date with what is going on.

Tomorrow it'll be pictures from the loft as it will finally be empty and ready to be converted.  Then we'll be taking as much of the "junk" we found to a local car boot sale.  Hopefully we'll make enough money to cover a nice take-away and a bottle of wine.

I'll also be posting any hints and tips I pick up along the way regarding the whole process from initial plans through to completion.
